As No Label's Community Director, you are responsible for growing, maintaining, and supporting No Label's diverse community of attendees and speakers. This role allows you to engage with and actively create a space for underrepresented narratives and passionate creative talent — we are always looking for innovative ways to build our community and give back to our supporters. This is a great opportunity to develop your personal expertise and interact with talent across every cultural industry.
Communicate with our users — you'll be responsible for interacting with the No Label community across all platforms from email to Discord to Instagram.
Grow our community — in conjunction with the Communication Director, hypothesize, develop, and measure messaging we put out across channels to figure out what works and how to amplify it.
Manage social media — in conjunction with the Communications Director, develop and execute creative campaigns that engage our community and attract new audiences.
Be the voice of our users — organize feedback from our attendees so that they can be heard and represented in product development. We take this extremely seriously and want our users' voices to shape our decisions.
Experience as a community organizer and social media manager.
Someone personable, charismatic, intelligent, and willing to put in the effort to craft a unique and inviting space for others.
Excitement about learning and teaching new things.
Excellent writing skills and creative approaches to audience engagement.
Familiarity with many social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Discord, Reddit, and YouTube.
Extreme attention to detail and organization skills.
Deep commitment to social responsibility and mission-driven work.
Fundamental appreciation for creative communities and authentic storytelling.
Prior experience with creative industries (music, film, fashion, etc.) is a plus.
Part-time, 10-15 hrs/week
