As No Label's Communications Director, you will help define and establish our communications and marketing strategy and voice, leading efforts to build and spread No Label's mission and vision to the world. In this role, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with key audiences and media partners, as well as shaping our brand voice and campaign rollouts. We need an organized individual who can command influence responsibly and craft compelling stories that reflect both internal and external stakeholder values. Write, write, write — craft and execute internal and external communications that express No Label's vision, brand, and position through media relations, executive communications, issues management, and growth-focused PR strategies.
Generate growth — ideate, coordinate, and execute aggressive growth strategies with internal and external marketing teams.
Manage press — develop and oversee No Label assets including press releases, presentations, and briefing documents that create awareness and provide context for what No Label does.
Manage social media — in conjunction with the Community Director, develop and execute creative campaigns that engage our community and attract new audiences.
Stay alert — keep current on relevant industry, economic, and governmental issues that could impact No Label's business, position, or messaging.
Superior writing skills with the ability to craft provoking and compelling narratives.
Experience managing internal PR projects and external partner relationships.
Awareness of and proficiency with communications technologies.
Experience in stakeholder/community engagement.
Extreme attention to detail and organization skills.
Deep commitment to social responsibility and mission-driven work.
Fundamental appreciation for creative communities and authentic storytelling.
Prior experience with creative industries (music, film, fashion, etc.) is a plus.

Developing relationships with well-established artist teams and artist PR teams
